Our Mission
We will create our own partner ecosystem where People, Planet AND Profit positively coexist and work synergistically to realise our vision. Our vision is to plant 1 billion trees and lift 1 million people out of extreme poverty.
How We Deliver on Our Mission
GiftTrees partners with Restaurant Operating Companies (ROCs), EPOS providers, and other businesses to fund tree planting through customer contributions. These funds are channelled to trusted Tree Planting Organizations (TPOs), enabling the delivery of high-impact planting projects that drive long-term environmental restoration and meaningful poverty alleviation in local communities.
Our strategy focuses on working closely with projects that align with our mission and values. We prioritise high tree survivability and the economic empowerment of underserved communities—particularly families and women-led households living in extreme poverty—through sustainable agroforestry. By taking an integrated, ecosystem-wide approach, we aim to strengthen both climate and community resilience in sub-Saharan Africa. In doing so, our work helps improve health, well-being, and reliable access to essential needs for those facing the greatest challenges.
